GLOUCESTER COUNTY — Gloucester County announced the launch of its newly-redesigned website.
According to a Gloucester County press release, “The new design is tailored to coincide with the look of the Official County Seal and is in line with various rebranding efforts that are taking place within the organization.”
The new look for Gloucester County’s website came to fruition after six months of collaborative work between the county’s Department of Information Technology and the Community Engagement & Public Information (CE&PI) Department.
”We couldn’t be more pleased about how the redesign turned out and we are excited for the public to begin enjoying it,” said CE&PI Manager Gloria Williams.
According to the press release, “The redesign came at no additional cost to the County, as a refresh of the site is permitted every few years under the County’s contract with the vendor, CivicPlus.”
The website features community news and events in a more easy-to-find locations on the front page of the website. The redesign also has enhanced accessibility for users based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The County announced that improvements have also been made to the website’s “header pages” which are special pages designed for its Economic Development, Parks & Recreation, Tourism, and the Library.
The redesigned website is live now. Locals seeking additional information can visit Gloucester County’s website.
