A fire has put a Busch Gardens’ attraction is out of commission further notice.
The Escape from Pompeii flume ride is closed indefinitely said park spokesman Ron Vample.
A small fire broke out on the roof of the Escape from Pompeii attraction Saturday night. The ride was not operating when the fire began, and no guests or park staff were in the vicinity, he said.
The fire was quickly extinguished without incident by the James City County Fire Department, Vample said.
“The safety of our guests and ambassadors remains our top priority,” Vample said.
