
YORKTOWN — Blues, Brews & BBQ returns to Yorktown’s Riverwalk Landing from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.
According to York County, the event promises a smorgasbord of craft beers, mouthwatering barbecue available for purchase, and the sweet sounds of the area’s finest blues musicians on the scenic Riverwalk Landing Stage.
Festivities begin at noon with a performance by The Fifes and Drums of York Town. At 12:30 p.m., the HM Johnson Band kicks off the musical entertainment, followed by the Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos at 3:30 p.m.

The wine garden, offering tastings included with admission, is back by popular demand, the county said. Visitors can sample French, German, and domestic wine favorites. Early Bird tickets are $40 in advance (through April 15) and $50 after and at the door (if tickets are still available). This is a closed, ticket-only event that is not recommended for children or pets. A limited number of non-drinking tickets are available for $20.
This event is sponsored by Water Street Grille, Kona Big Wave, Riverwalk Restaurant, and York County.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace. Visitors may also park at York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots. The free Yorktown Trolley runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with several stops throughout town.
