These are some lucky turkeys

NEWPORT NEWS — The Virginia Living Museum will pardon its four wild turkeys — three hens and one tom — on Wednesday.

The event is $20 for adults, $15 for children ages 3- 12 and ages 2 and younger are free. Museum admission is included.

In addition to the turkey pardoning, the event features a parade, hot cider, turkey-related crafts and other activities, according to the VLM’s announcement.

Tina Vick, the city’s vice mayor will lead the opening ceremony.

The 9th Annual Turkey Pardoning is at the Virginia Living Museum, 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
