NEWPORT NEWS — The annual Newport News Children’s Festival of Friends is back for another year and is packing a lot of fun.
The festival, which is in its 29th year, will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on May 5 at the Newport News Park.
The festival is free but there will be a $5 charge for parking, according to a news release from the City of Newport News.
Activities will include juggling, kids rides and comedy performances. Children can also meet characters from their favorite books.
Vendors will also be on hand, selling everything from pizza to popsicles.
