Do you know what happened on Myra Drive Tuesday night?

HAMPTON — Police are asking for tips from the public to help detectives identify the suspect or suspects in connection with a shooting Tuesday.

Authorities said officers were sent to the 100 block of Myra Drive at around 10:05 p.m.

There, police found two Hampton men — 21 and 26 — “suffering from gunshot wounds.”

Both were taken to the hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

According to a preliminary investigation, “a group of individuals were outside of a residence when a black vehicle approached” and the occupants began shooting at the two men.

Two nearby vehicles also were struck by gunfire.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Hampton Police Division at 757–727–6111 or the Crime Line at 888-LOCK-U-UP.
