WILLIAMSBURG — The Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg is hosting its seventh annual Brews that Benefit fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Alewerks Brewing Company.
This year’s event is from 3-7 p.m. and coincides with the Alewerks Pumpkin Fest.
The family-friendly event will feature the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck, a 50/50 raffle, raffle items and live music by Alec Edmonds.
According to organizers, raffle items include golf certificates, two single-day tickets to Busch Gardens, a photography session by Kellyn Wilson and more.
‘Art on the Square’ commemorative posters will also be sold to raise money for scholarships for high school seniors. Admission is free and open to the public.
“Brews that Benefit is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of community, collaboration, and compassion. Each year, we’re reminded of the incredible impact we can make when local businesses and families come together for a greater cause,” said Kristin Barr, president of the JWCW. “We’re proud to partner with Alewerks once again and grateful for the continued support that helps us fund scholarships and support local nonprofits across Williamsburg.”
Every year, JWCW hosts fundraising events, including Brews that Benefit, and a portion of the proceeds are donated locally in the form of mini-grants to other nonprofits and awarded as scholarships to high school seniors.
