YORKTOWN — York County’s Dockmaster Building project completion date has been delayed.
County Administrator Mark Bellamy said at the May 6 Board of Supervisors meeting that weather and material delays have pushed back the date of substantial completion by 30 days to June 15.
“The hope is that we will be ready to go by July 1,” Bellamy added.
Approved in August, the 1,874-square-foot, $1.8 million project located on Water Street, will house year-round restrooms, family changing rooms, the Dockmaster’s office and a visitor service area.
The facility will also be ADA-accessible.
