YORK COUNTY — York County Restaurant Week returns from Feb. 24 through March 2 and the search is on for participating restaurants.
Held for the first time last year, York County Restaurant Week offers local eateries a chance to showcase special menu items or offer discounted prices. According to feedback from last year, restaurants in York County saw a rise in new customers and have since added Restaurant Week specials to the permanent menu.
To participate, restaurants must submit a unique lunch/dinner three-course or discount special that is exclusive to York County Restaurant Week. Restaurants must then submit a flyer or menu to the tourism office no later than Feb 10.
Once specials are submitted, York County Economic and Tourism Development will post the offers on the Restaurant Week webpage and promote it on social media channels and in their weekly newsletter.
“We are thrilled to build on the success of York County’s inaugural Restaurant Week and invite all local restaurants to be a part of this exciting initiative. This program is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the incredible dining options we have right here in York County. We’ve designed Restaurant Week to be simple and flexible, making it easy for every establishment to participate. Whether you’re a casual café or a fine dining destination, we can’t wait to work together to celebrate and savor all the delicious bites York County has to offer,” Kristi Olsen, Director of Economic and Tourism Development for York County, said.
