WILLIAMSBURG — The 40th Annual International Concert Artist Series from Tidewater Classical Guitar is returning to Williamsburg with four stops planned for the 2023-24 season.
On Oct. 26, Luca Stricagnoli will take to the Williamsburg Library Theater stage. His music videos have seen over 100 million views on YouTube. Playing acoustically, Stricagnoli often adds tricks into his set, where no trick is off limits. He has previously played two guitars at the same time, played a guitar with three necks, played guitar with his feet, played guitar lying down, and even played with a kitchen knife.
On Dec. 7, the TCG Holiday Showcase will bring holiday cheer to the Williamsburg area. The concert will feature the TCG Orchestra and some of the most famous guitarists in Hampton Roads.
On Feb. 22, Duo Noire will play at the Williamsburg Library Theater stage. The duo, Thomas Flippin and Christopher Mallett, will share their repertoire with Williamsburg audiences.
On March 21, Lovro Peretic, winner of the 2022 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist competition, will round out the concerts in Williamsburg. Peretic has won more than 30 prizes in international competitions and recently debuted his first recording.
All concerts in Williamsburg will take place at the Williamsburg Library Theater, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Season tickets, single tickets, or livestream access can be purchased at TidewaterClassicalGuitar.org.
