
WILLIAMSBURG — The Hound’s Tale Kitchen is the latest addition to Williamsburg’s Prince George Street.
The newly conceptualized space located at 501 Prince George St., between The Hound’s Tale and The Corner BARKery, offers a distinctive venue for groups to host private events. Whether that is a bridal shower, a graduation party, or a company gathering, the venue says that it’s ready to provide amenities.


The private venue can comfortably sit around 75 guests inside, and the venue’s outdoor space can accommodate an additional 25-50 people, Skeens said.

The venue is owned by Steve & Michelle Sieling, Owners of Aromas Coffeehouse Bakery & Cafe, The Hound’s Tale, and the dog-friendly The Corner BARKery.
Both Aromas Coffeehouse Bakery & Cafe and The Hounds Tale offer catering to the venue for events. This includes items like freshly baked pastries, cakes, and pies from the cafe’s menu.“A lot of people were asking the owners of the Hounds Tale to book private parties but they would’ve had to shut down the restaurant,” said Skeens. “The first event was hosted on Oct. 14. We were going to do a big Grand Opening but we started getting reservations before we even opened.”

The space was previously the location of the popular Chef’s Kitchen, which closed down last year due to the passing of its owner, Chef John Gonzales.
According to The Hound’s Tale Kitchen, “In honor of the former owner, Chef John Gonzales, the Sieling family maintained the essence of the property by repurposing some of the signature pieces. Rather than trying to replicate what was once John’s, they put their own spin on the space. The butcher block, which once served as a community table, has been handcrafted by a local mill and turned into intimate table tops for smaller parties. The mahogany shutters have been repurposed into high-top tables, allowing for natural light to shine through the windows.”
