Gloucester Toyota, Salvation Army to Provide Food Boxes for Families in Need

GLOUCESTER — Gloucester Toyota is partnering with The Salvation Army to provide food boxes for families in need during the Toyota/Lexus Minority Owned Business Dealers (TLMODA) National Spring Break Day of Service.

The community is invited to a drive-through food giveaway on Thursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gloucester Toyota, 6357 George Washington Memorial Highway.

TLMODA is a diverse dealer group with a mission to give back to the community.

A member of TLMODA, Gloucester Toyota employees will work alongside The Salvation Army of the Virginia Peninsula to load food boxes into cars and provide a gift card for every household. 

Gloucester Toyota has sponsored over 260 food boxes for the food giveaway. The Salvation Army works with local social service providers to identify and invite families in need.
