York County House Left Damaged Following Fire

COVENTRY — On Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, York County Fire and Life Safety, aided by the Langley Air Force Base Fire Department responded to a house fire in the Coventry neighborhood of Tabb in southern York County.

At approximately 7:43 p.m., units from both departments were dispatched to the 100 block of Blacksmith Arch after a residential fire was reported.

Once on scene, units found heavy fire conditions from the back of the structure’s upstairs. They were able to quickly determine that all occupants were able to exit the structure.

In a media release from the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety, it states that units initiated an aggressive fire attack and that it was brought under control shortly thereafter. The release also notes that there was extensive fire and smoke damage to the residence.

As of the publication of this article, WYDaily was not able to ascertain if the cause of the fire was determined nor the extent of damage to the residence.
