JAMES CITY COUNTY — James City County Police (JCCPD) are asking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects from an armed robbery that took place in Norge.
On the evening of Tues., Sept. 21, two male suspects entered the 7-Eleven convenience store on Richmond Rd. in Norge. One suspect took a bottled drink from the cooler and proceeded to pay at the register. Once the clerk opened the cash drawer, this same suspect produced a handgun and pointed it at the clerk. He then proceeded to try and take the money from the drawer. The clerk shoved the cash register and the plexiglass COVID-19 barrier at the suspect.
Both males fled the store on foot without any items.
JCCPD is asking that anyone who might have information to aid in identifying these suspects to call Investigator Logan English at (757) 603-6033 or to send an email to logan.english@jamescitycountyva.gov.

JCCPD notes that callers to the Crime Line and P3 Tips may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest.
