JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Department of Planning Division is asking community members for their input on pedestrian accommodations.

Community members who study, live, work and partake in recreation around the Jamestown High School vicinity are invited to take the Jamestown High School Pedestrian Accommodation Survey, which is open from now until Sept. 15.

The survey asks community members to rank if there are any barriers preventing them or their children from walking or biking safely to the school.

It also asks them to provide input on whether additional sidewalks and crosswalks added around the area would change their method of transportation to work or school, as well as whether or not they would use them.
