JAMES CITY COUNTY — Fees will be waived to collect storm debris for James City County (JCC) residents.
Following the July 29 storm, JCC has announced that county residents will be able to dispose of debris without having to pay fees through August 9. Debris, such as tree limbs and other brush, can be taken to the Jolly Pond Road Convenience Center, located at 1204 Jolly Pond Rd. in Williamsburg.
The Jolly Pond Road Convenience Center is open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Proof of residency will be required. Residents wanting to dispose of debris that is not related to the storm, such as construction, will still be required to pay a fee.
