NORFOLK – Police here are asking the public for help in identifying the two men they say robbed two convenience stores just minutes apart Thursday.
Around 2:20 a.m. two “young men,” one armed with a shotgun the other with a rifle, went in the 7-Eleven at 6900 N. Military Hwy. and demanded money from the clerk.
The store clerk gave the suspects what they wanted — the suspects fled on foot, police said.
Minutes later, around 2:45 a.m., the same two suspects entered the 7-Eleven at 1511 E. Little Creek Road and demanded money from the clerk.
Police said the suspects again fled on foot shortly after taking the loot.
No one was injured during the two heists.
