NORFOLK — The St. Patrick’s Day Parade here is on Saturday in the Oceanview and Granby area, so residents who use the bus system might want to take note of these detours.
Starting at 9 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m., routes 1, 3 and 5 will go on detour.
Residents in the Oceanview and Granby areas are advised to board/disembark near the Oceanview Avenue Tinee Giant.
Hampton Roads Transit is asking riders to be advised of the following message: Even though buses are detouring around the parade route, heavy traffic is expected in the surrounding areas. Buses will be affected and expect delays.
