Here’s how you can find out more about the Granby Street Bridge rehab project

NORFOLK — There will be three information meetings for the public to learn more about the Granby Street Bridge rehabilitation project.

The project will repair vital structural components and extend the usable life of this important crossing over the Lafayette River, city officials said.

The community meetings will take place as follows:

  • Community Information Meeting 1 – March 18, 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Tabernacle Church of Norfolk.
  • Community Information Meeting 3 – March 20, 6:15-7:15 p.m. at Lafayette Shores Clubhouse.
  • Community Information Meeting 2 – March 21, 5:45-6:45 p.m. at Lafayette Library Branch.

Construction work is anticipated to begin in late spring and continue until mid to late 2020.

Throughout construction, at least one travel lane in both directions will remain open.
