The Friends of Norfolk’s Environment are looking forward to continuing their annual fundraiser and membership drive by hosting another Jam’n Jamz on Jan. 12.
Norfolk residents who attend the event will be able to adopt from a selection of fruit and nut trees as well as shrubs.
There are 500 free trees available for Norfolk residents, according to the Friends of Norfolk’s Environment website.
In addition to the tree adoption, there will be exhibits and information about trees, gardening, eco-friendly home care and more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ernie Morgan Center on 3500 A Granby St.
The event’s flyer recommends taking the zoo entrance and then the first left to the end of the parking lot to get to the fair.
