VIRGINIA BEACH — Starting at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, utility work will affect traffic on a section of Lake Edward Drive.
The project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26, weather permitting, according to a news release from the city.
Lake Edward Drive will be temporarily closed between Hampshire Lane and East Hastings Arch. Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the utility work and detour routes. Residents will have access to their properties at all times.
