VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.

Here’s this week’s list:
On April 7, the pictured suspect stole a Tommy Hilfiger jacket from Macy’s at Lynnhaven Mall, police said. He put on the jacket in a changing room, then put his own jacket over it to conceal it.
On June 1, a man had his truck broken into while it was parked on Burlington Road in Virginia Beach, police said. The victim’s backpack was stolen, which contained his checkbook. On June 4, police said the woman pictured above attempted to cash one of the stolen checks at a bank on Newtown Road.
On June 12, police said the pictured suspect stole a Craftsman chainsaw from the Sears store at Pembroke Mall. The next day, police said the suspect returned and stole two Craftsman gas powered leaf blowers. Police also provided a video clip of the suspect entering the store.
On May 30, police said a person accidentally left a stroller in the parking lot of DSW at Pembroke Mall; but when the person drove back to look for the stroller, it was gone. Police said a woman had turned the stroller over to mall security, but that a few minutes later, another woman went to mall security to claim the stroller. Security footage showed the two women had conspired to steal the stroller and left together in the pictured vehicle, with one of the women pictured next to it.
