The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office has renewed a request for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a 2013 armed home invasion and shooting.
Investigators are still searching for 39-year-old Christopher Benton, who allegedly was involved in a home invasion in the 200 block of Thoreau Circle in York County, according to a sheriff’s office Facebook post.
Benton is wanted for attempted murder, armed burglary, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm.
Benton’s last known address is in the 900 block of Florida Street in Hampton.
