It’s only May, but Busch Gardens is already preparing to give Halloween enthusiasts a new thrill this fall.

Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream is gearing up to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a new “Era of Terror” event for September, according to a release from the park. The event is planned to feature even more terrifying and exciting attractions than ever before.

The event will include a variety of new features including three haunted houses, three bars, two “Terror-tories,” two party zones and one escape room experience. These will be in addition to the current Halloween attractions in the park.

Throughout the summer, Busch Gardens has prepared a schedule of reveals to build up to the grand opening of the new attraction:

  • May 20, Howl-O-Scream 20th anniversary logo reveal
  • June 20, a haunted house and one “terror-tory” revealed
  • July 20, second haunted house, second “terror-tory,” escape room revealed
  • August 20, third haunted house, party zones and bars revealed

Howl-O-Scream will run on select days from Sept. 15 through Oct. 28. Guests are encouraged to check the Howl-O-Scream website each month until then to stay up to date on reveal details.
