‘Star Wars’ music lovers: Don’t miss a performance of a lifetime tomorrow

The Virginia Symphony Orchestra is performing conductor John Williams’ “Star Wars” discography at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Ferguson Center for the Arts.

Special guest conductor Damon Gupton will lead the symphony and the audience through the world of “Star Wars” during the performance.

Gupton is an actor and orchestral conductor who has had roles in television shows like “Deadline,” “Prime Suspect” and “Criminal Minds,” according to a news release from the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
