VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Thursday night.
It happened in the 600 block of Newton Road at around 8:47 p.m.
Officers who were sent there to investigate found “an adult male, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. “
Police did not release further details about the incident, citing an open investigation.
