NORFOLK — Detectives are asking the public for help in finding an 18-year-old college student who has been missing since Monday morning.
Authorities said Achie Swett was last seen outside the downtown Norfolk campus of Tidewater Community College around 9:45 a.m.
She “made threats to harm herself and could be in danger,” police said in a news release Tuesday night.
Swett, who is around 5 feet 3 inches tall, with black hair, brown eyes, wears glasses and weighs approximately 120 pounds, was last seen wearing a dark zip-up jacket and dark pants.
Authorities ask that anyone who may have seen her or know of Swett’s whereabouts to call 757-441-5610 or the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
