
NORFOLK — Police are searching for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven clerk around 5 a.m. Friday.
Authorities say the suspect approached the clerk in front of the store at 770 Boush St. and demanded money. The suspect then struck the clerk repeatedly on the head using his gun before fleeing the area.
The clerk was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans, and light-colored sneakers.
