VIRGINIA BEACH — A 24-year-old Virginia Beach man is accused of burglarizing three homes in the Holland Pines neighborhood while their residents were asleep inside.
Drake Eric Hermann, of the 1000 block of Tivoli Crescent, is charged with grand larceny, attempt to commit a non-capital offense, credit card theft, credit card fraud and two counts of burglary, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
The charges stem from three burglaries that happened overnight on March 5 and March 6 in the 1700 block of Chestwood Drive and the 2900 block of Chestwood Bend.
Police believe Hermann entered the homes through unlocked, rear garage doors. He’s accused of taking several personal items from the homes, including credit cards, purses and identification cards, according to the VBPD.

He’s currently being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
