Children and adults alike can get into the Easter spirit March 31 with James City County’s Easter Egg Extravaganza.
The event includes two large Easter egg hunts, which will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Warhill Sports Complex and 1-2 p.m. at the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, according to a county news release.
The Easter egg hunts will be divided by age at each location, and are open for children who are old enough to walk up to age 7.
There will also be face painting, refreshments for purchase and more activities on the side.
Participants should bring their own Easter basket and a camera, the release said.
James City County Parks and Recreation is hosting the event, and Williamsburg Parks & Recreation is co-sponsoring it.
The Warhill Sports Complex is located at 5700 Warhill Trail. The event will be held on the baseball fields.
The Abram Frink Jr. Community Center is 8901 Pocahontas Trail, next to James River Elementary School.
The event is weather-dependent.
