The Williamsburg Botanical Garden is sponsoring a talk on the history and design of cottage gardens at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center.
The talk will be held at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center on Saturday, March 17, at 10 a.m., according to a Williamsburg Botanical Gardens news release.
Local landscape architect and former garden director at Colonial Williamsburg, Gordon Chappell, will host the talk.
While the talk is free, the group is asking for individuals who can afford to do so, to give a $5 donation “to help the Garden grow,” according to the release.
After the program, master gardeners will be in the botanical garden to answer questions.
