A new business has opened in James City County’s Five Forks area.
The Studio at Jamestown aims to fill a niche in the local economy with a rental photography studio and a professional meeting space.
The business can provide studio space for photographers looking to shoot film indoors. Two photography studios can be rented at the business, one for newborn baby photo shoots and a main studio room. Both studios are available to rent by appointment only, according to the release.
“As local photographers, Chelsea and I had met professionally and we both had converted areas of our homes into studios,” co-owner Melissa Neck said in the release. “We knew that not every photographer has the space to do that and wanted to create a rental photography studio knowing that such places exist in other communities.”
The studio is owned by Neck and Chelsea Rose, and the space can also be rented as a meeting space.
