The Williamsburg Premium Outlets are celebrating this holiday season by displaying nearly two dozen wreaths around the shopping mall and offering the chance to win a $500 gift card.

The inaugural Festival of Wreaths at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets will be celebrated from this Friday to Dec. 16, according to an outlets news release.

“The idea for Festival of Wreaths came about as a way to bring festive cheer to our shoppers looking to check items off their Christmas lists while enjoying enormous savings on our sought-after selection of retailers,” Lisa Jones, director of marketing and business development, said.

Over 20 wreaths decorated by local artists will be on display throughout the 135-store mall. Many of the stores featuring the wreaths are popular retailers such as Adidas, Kate Spade New York, The North Face and Vineyard Vines, according to the release.

Those needing a little extra money for their holiday spending can enter a contest to win a $500 gift card to the Premium Outlets. Guests can participate by posting photos of the wreaths with the hashtag “#WreathsAtWilliamsburg,” on Facebook or Instagram, the release said.

The winning photo should feature the shopper’s favorite wreath design as they enjoy shopping throughout the center, according to Jones. The winner will be announced on Dec. 18.

If there are wreaths that shoppers particularly love, they will have the chance to take one home. During the last days of the festival, the wreaths will be available for purchase. From Dec. 14-16, any proceeds from the purchased wreaths will benefit the Salvation Army of Williamsburg, the release said.

Also in the spirit of the season, Brooks Brothers Factory Store will be collecting donations for St. Jude Children’s Hospital through Jan. 6. St Jude is a children’s hospital that focuses on research and treats children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. All of the donations will go directly to the hospital, according to the website.

In addition to the wreath festival, the outlets are making holidays better by having extended store hours. The full hours can be found on the Premium Outlets website.

On Christmas Eve, the mall will be open for last-minute shopping from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. The outlets will be closed on Christmas Day, according to their website.
