NORFOLK — Norfolk homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in a residential part of the city on Wednesday morning.
Police believe 39-year-old Aaron James Richardson was shot to death in the 3100 block of Kitchener Avenue. Officers discovered him lying on the ground shortly after midnight, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy to determine the man’s exact cause of death, according to police.
