VIRGINIA BEACH — Virginia Beach police are looking for an alleged burglar who was captured on surveillance footage falling through the roof of an area convenience store before stealing money, lottery tickets and cigarettes from it.
The alleged burglary happened at Market Express around 4:50 a.m. on Oct. 26. Video shows a man crashing through the roof of the 1901 Independence Boulevard business and falling into the store.
After stealing the items, the man left through a back door, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
He’s described as being between 25 and 35 years old, between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet-2-inches tall and having facial hair.
