Police are asking the public’s help in locating two men, who are believed to be armed, and are wanted for robbing a man at the intersection of Route 199 and Jamestown Road on Thursday night.
The alleged robbery occurred between 9 and 9:40 p.m., according to Williamsburg Police Department news release.
Officers arrived at the scene of the alleged robbery around 10:10 p.m., the release said.
The victim told officers he had been robbed by two black men at the intersection, according to the release.
“The victim advised the suspects both spoke with an accent and had shoulder length dreadlocks,” the release said. Maj. Greg Riley, a spokesperson for the department, said there was no other description available for the suspects.
Police said the victim reported the two men ran from the scene after he handed them money.
