VIRGINIA BEACH — Commuters driving on Greenwich Road Tuesday afternoon may want to find an alternate route.
In a tweet sent out around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, the Virginia Beach Police Department said that Greenwich Road was closed between Newtown Road and Witchduck Road after a crash caused an electric pole to go down.
Around 5 p.m., police said they expected the road to reopen soon.
