VIRGINIA BEACH — A fatal crash closed part of Oceana Boulevard southbound Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The southbound lanes between Potters Road and Bells Road were closed around 3:30 p.m. Northbound traffic was backed up to Bells Road.
Around 5:15 p.m., police said Oceana Boulevard had reopened.
It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or how many people were killed.
