NORFOLK — UFC is bringing its octagon to the Ted Constant Center in the fall.
The mixed martial arts promotion is scheduled to host its Fight Night event on November 11.
While no fights have been announced for the fight card yet, this will be the first time that the UFC has come to Norfolk.
The announcement comes on the heels of UFC 214 in Anaheim, California. The pay-per-view event featured three championship bouts and saw the return of Jon “Bones” Jones, who reclaimed the UFC Light Heavyweight title after a third-round TKO victory over Daniel Cormier.
The Ted Constant Center is no stranger to housing mixed martial arts as the venue typically hosts events for Spartyka Fight Leauge, a local MMA promotion that holds events in Southeastern Virginia.
