NORFOLK — Do you think you have what it takes to be a Norfolk Sheriff’s Office deputy? Your chance to apply is coming soon.
The NSO is holding an open recruitment event at 10 a.m. on July 29 at 140 East St.
The event will allow applicants to meet members of the NSO, learn about career advancement as a deputy and complete the physical and written exams needed to get the job.
Some people may even be able to start full-time work immediately, according to an NSO press release.
To apply, first download and complete the application. Bring it to the event, along with your driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, highest educational diploma and your credit score.
And don’t forget your workout clothes.
