NORFOLK — A woman was seriously injured when she was shot in Riverview on the Fourth of July.
Police say the 29-year-old woman was shot in a home in the 200 block of La Valette Avenue around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
She was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She is in serious condition but expected to survive, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
