VIRGINIA BEACH — A man was seriously injured after being shot during a robbery near Town Center early Saturday morning, police said.
Officers responded to a call for a robbery at a 7-Eleven on Kellam Road shortly after 1 a.m. and found a man had been shot, according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.
First responders took the man — who has not been identified — to a local hospital. Police say his injuries are life-threatening.
Police have not yet released any suspect information.
