The Williamsburg Regional Library is set to host an informal presentation of the life and many loves of influential American singer Frank Sinatra, nearly 19 years after the death of “Ol’ Blue Eyes.”

The Talks@2 presentation will be held at the Stryker Center on Tuesday at 2 p.m., according to a Williamsburg Regional Library news release.

Tuesday’s lecture is part of a free series of discussions hosted by the Williamsburg Regional Library on a variety of subjects. The talks feature library staff speaking on topics they’re passionate and knowledgeable about, according to the release.

The Tuesday talk will be hosted by two longtime fans of Sinatra’s music, Williamsburg Regional Library adult services director Melissa Simpson and adult services librarian Cheryl Edwards, the release said.

“We had a lot of fun putting this program together,” Simpson said in the release. “Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Frank Sinatra had a distinctive singing style. And you’ll get a chance to hear some of his iconic songs and be entertained by his roller coaster career and multiple marriages in this presentation.”
