NORFOLK — A third person was shot and killed in Norfolk this week, police say.
A 24-year-old man died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital early Tuesday morning after officers found him shot in the 9000 block of 1st View Street around 12:30 a.m., according to the Norfolk Police Department.
His death is the 14th homicide in Norfolk this year.
It’s also the third shooting in the city since Sunday when 23-year-old Richard Eyerman and 18-year-old Nateria Powell died in separate incidents.
