Sen. Monty Mason (D-1) visited the WYDaily newsroom and 92.3 The Tide studios Friday and chatted with Hometown Host Aimee Bowen about partisanship in the General Assembly, environmental funding and the importance of having constituents reach out to their representatives to Richmond.
Mason represents the City of Williamsburg, parts of James City County, York County and parts of Newport News, Hampton and Suffolk in the upper house of the General Assembly.
Mason won the seat after beating back a challenge from two opponents in last November’s election after the seat was vacated with the passing of John Miller.
