
VIRGINIA BEACH — American rock band the Goo Goo Dolls and country artist Brantley Gilbert announced concerts in Virginia Beach on their upcoming summer tours. Both concerts will be at the Veterans United Home Amphitheater.
The Goo Goo Dolls will perform Friday, Aug. 25 on their “Long Way Home” tour, in support of their latest album titled “Boxes.” “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips will open the show.
Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m., Spotify presales start Wednesday, March 1 and fan club and VIP package presales went on sale Monday. They can be purchased at the amphitheater box office, livenation.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.
“There are so many different ways to do this come warm weather,” Gilbert said in a press release. “There’s not much realer — or more like where I come from — than a fair… and those amphitheater shows, well, that’s where the BG nation comes together to throw it down.”
