VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are asking the public to provide information about a dog that was found dead on the beach Friday.
The dog was spotted around noon in a shallow grave near the 8500 block of Ocean Front Avenue, police said.
Police say the dog appears to be a tan adult female hound mix. The dog had an injury to its head.
