Get your hair cut while helping someone in need through Hair Cuttery’s Share-A-Haircut program on Monday and Tuesday.

The program, which began in 1999, will donate a free haircut to a homeless adult or child for every haircut purchased across the company’s 900 locations on Feb. 6 – 7.

Over the past 18 years, Hair Cuttery has partnered with local shelters and community organizations to distribute more than 2 million free haircut gift certificates.

“It warms my heart that we’re able to take part in this campaign,” local Hair Cuttery manager Tracy Gugal-Okroy said.”It’s a great thing that the company does. I would do it every day if we could.”

According to Gugal-Okroy, her Loehmanns Plaza Hair Cuttery location has already had nearly a dozen homeless individuals come in to obtain their free haircut since the campaign began.
