A water main break on Ocean View Avenue has left sections of the roadway flooded over on Tuesday afternoon.
Margie Stohl, a Norfolk Public Utilities dispatcher, said that the water main break has caused water to cover the road from Norfolk Avenue to Chesapeake Steet. Stohl also said that parts of Chesapeake Boulevard have also been affected.
Crews are working to fix the water main, but Stohl said because the exact location of the break has not been identified, crews were not able to specify when the flooding would be contained.
