Regent University student attacked on campus Tuesday morning, campus police say

Both Regent University and Virginia Beach police are searching for a man they say assaulted a female student on the university’s campus.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, campus police said a man attacked and wounded a female student outside of Foundation Hall. The woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Campus police described the man as white, about 5-foot-10-inches tall and thin. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt which covered his face.

Campus police ask that anyone with information about the attack should call 757-226-2075.
